Saxophonists are in luck! We have a new work by Jesús Torres, and, this time, it is for soprano saxophone and piano. The work is called Silentium Amoris and is based on a poem by Oscar Wilde. I had the pleasure of premiering it at the end of 2022 at the National Museum of Decorative Arts with Jesús himself at the premiere. It is therefore a pleasure to announce that it is now available and has been published by Tritó. A video or audio of my version of the piece will be available soon, as I believe that saxophonists should be familiar with this interesting work.
